I am great admirer of architectural historian Richard Longstreth. In late May, 2019, many of his students and colleagues gathered to give papers in his honor in Penn Design’s Meyerson Hall. “The Cultural Practice of Everyday Places.” My paper was called “Ghost Town: Snapshots of a Cultural Landscape,” and I was so happy to be able to share this work and get feedback with colleagues and friends I respect so much.
