Fall River planning project

This summer, I worked with two former students from the Yale School of Architecture, Jacob Dugopolski and Chris Aubin, to put together a competition entry for the South Coast Light Rail in Fall River, Massachusetts.  Our proposal — it included a “Sky Lab” built into the infrastructure of a 1960s-era elevated highway and a terminal structure that takes advantage of an existing ceremonial gateway built a few years ago to mirror a 16th century gateway in Fall River’s sister city in Portugal — won an honorable mention from the ShiftBoston contest.  Chris was at the awards ceremony in South Station to represent our team.  I hope to have the opportunity to work on more projects like these in the future.
